Barell Curl Technique Bun

It is always important to make sure that the hair is well brushed before you start so it is easier to manage the hair.

1- Section the hair in the place you want it.

2- Put the hair you will be putting into a ponytail, securing it with an elastic/hair tie.
3- Sectioning the ponytail into four parts take the first section and create a barrel curl facing away from you.

4- Pin this section in place. Place the pin further up the barrel curl to make sure it keeps it shape and is held firmly in with a kirby grip
5- Repeat step 4 on the remaining sections of hair leaving the a small gap between the sections that allows you to work the hair.
6- Once all of the sections are pinned in place use a fine pin to spread the hair and make it look like a full bun. It's easier to use pins that fingers to do this as a pin won't ruin the shape.
7. Secure in with fine pins. Push them in away from you and then pull them, back. This makes it really secure.
